During the last visit from the First Lady Mrs. Zavala to CHMX the Christel House Choir received an invitation to perform during Mrs. Obama visit.

Fifty-six students from the Choir of CHMX attended this event at the Benito Juarez International Airport to perform 3 songs to Mrs. Obama as a farewell gift.

"The Power of Song", "We Want to Sing" and "Río Río" were sang.

Miss Andrea, the music teacher, prepared these songs for this special occasion.

Also in attendance were our Executive Director - Dina Bakjejian, Development Director - Cristina Compeán, English Coordinator - Vanessa Gálvez and Board Member - Ricardo Montaudon.

It was a unique and a extraordinary experience for our students to sing for the First Lady of the United States of America.
