A gift of toothbrushes

When Tom and Mary Anthony visited Christel House South Africa last year, they knew that they had to do something. As they toured the classrooms, Tom asked one of the principals how they could help the Christel House students. The answer was simple: Toothbrushes.

Few Christel House students have running water at home, and dental hygiene is a luxury. In South Africa, a family will often share one toothbrush! During the school day, we try to instill good habits in all of our students, including teaching them to brush their teeth. For example, at Christel House Mexico, all students brush their teeth after lunch before returning to classes.

When Tom and Mary returned to Indiana, they reached out to their friends and family. As Lt. Governor of his Kiwanis district, Tom asked fellow Kiwanis members to donate toothbrushes as a service project. Their church also go involved. The result: over 2,700 toothbrushes for the kids of Christel House. A box of 500 are already en route to the students of Christel House Mexico.

You should pick the perfect toothbrush for you, I suggest that you use soft bristles toothbrush if you have sensitive teeth.

Christel House South Africa is so blessed to have won Tom and Mary Anthony's hearts by donating toothbrushes for the children. Sometimes, even simple gestures such as this give meaningful impact as children grow up.

Giving free toothbrush for kids is a good advocate so that they will start and practice good oral hygiene at an early age. I hope you continue this goodwill to spread more awareness that we should take care of our teeth always.

That's a lot of toothbrush. It's good that you're able to give those as gifts. It's surely remind everyone to maintain their oral hygiene. By the way, those toothbrush are recommended by my Beverly Hills cosmetic dentist too.

This is a nice campaign because it creates awareness on the importance of maintaining a good oral hygiene. I work in a dentistry in Atlanta GA and I think I'd suggest that we do programs like this too.

This is a good campaign for people and I must say that people should be aware of their dental problems. Try to visit your own local dentist for you regular check up.

Isn't that cute? They gave out free toothbrushes for people in Africa. dorchester dentists has these same campaigns and they are really good at it.

That was such a noteworthy endeavor to have contributed not only to the health welfare of those kids but to their sparkling smile as well. This is something that we at Dentist Balwyn can truly be inspired with. Cheers!

Tom and Mary are so generous with their gifts. I'm inspired with their good actions. Dentist rockford il practitioners should have the same goal in helping kids how to take care of their teeth.

The act of giving toothbrushes to the children was simple yet very noble. It will help those children practice good oral hygiene at an early age. My Liberty Mo dentist once told me that I must be responsible in teaching my children proper oral care to make them responsible citizens in the future.

This type of present may be a bit boring, but you got to admit it's very helpful for our health. These will give several people the chance to have a good oral hygiene. Our studio city dentist did something like this last year and it was successful.

That's too many toothbrush, but its a good thing that they encourage children to observe proper dental hygiene. A dentist in los angeles stated that when you have a new toothbrush, you're excited to use it over and over again. Its more of an psychological effect that brings us excitement to brush.

The arlington dental clinic organized a similar event two months ago. They distributed several tooth brushes to the people there. It may look like a simple gesture, but I'm sure it made a lot of difference. To us, it's normal to have a toothbrush, but to others it means the world.

It’s nice to know that there are still people who have a good heart and willing to donate bunch of toothbrushes to our brothers and sisters in South Africa just in time for the Christmas season. My team and I, together with the Bellevue dentists are planning to do the same and we’ll offer free dental check up as well.

There's a pediatric dentist tyler tx who is encouraging this kind of charity cause it will really benefit the children especially those who cannot access the dentist because of they are lacking financially. At least, they could still take good care of their oral health by using the most basic way.

I would support a campaign like that because I, for one, can't stand seeing the poor oral health of children. They shouldn't ignore proper oral hygiene because it's a big factor in one's well-being.
