It is with this faith that John closes down one of his luxury resorts in Goa during the peak of the holiday season every year. John chooses to fore-go thousands of dollars for hundreds of smiles and joy in the hearts of the Christel House children. John has ensured that the children have access to a robust selection of titles through a comprehensive library. On April 16th, John and his two daughters, along with his brother, visited the school. The day was sunny and bright and why not, as students of Christel House geared up to welcome this British businessman, settled in Australia, who made sure that they didn't go hungry a single day when they came to school. Garlands, tilaks were explicit symbols of gratitude and celebration but louder was the sound of the silent prayers that students had for this messiah for them. They walked through the classrooms, the cafeteria, the labs and finally the cultural program for the family by bright little ones. Hand painted fabrics as souvenirs more precious than the finest muslin in the world. John went away happy and impressed with the promise that he will visit these young ones every year. Great karma.
