Christel House South Africa just reported that 100% of their second graduating class passed the matric exams! For readers unfamiliar with the South African education system, the matric exams are taken during a student’s last year of secondary school---in the United States, this would be equivalent to a student’s senior year in high school--- and that student must pass these exams to graduate. South Africa’s average pass rate for these tests is only 67.8%. Additionally, two-thirds of this CHSA class met the requirements for admission to Bachelor’s Degree programs. Congratulations! We are so proud of these students!
