Andrea Sánchez is attending the
Creating Artistry workshop at
Butler University, where she is developing different strategies and techniques to conduct the choir as well perfecting her vocal skills. Diana Szelei, the music director at
Christel House Academy, is also attending.
Through individual and master class teaching, conductors study Conducting Gesture, Vocal Techniques, Rehearsal, Efficiency, Pacing, Score Analysis, Repertoire, Dalcroze Eurhythmics, Choral Administration and Multicultural Interpretation. Laboratory choruses provide the opportunity for participants to actively explore the conducting processes.
We appreciate the opportunity that Butler University gave us to improve our music programs in the U.S. and Mexico.
