Volunteer for Christel House...from your phone!



This week Christel House launched a profile on The Extraordinaries, a new micro-volunteering platform. Using an iPhone app (other platforms soon) you can now give a study tip, share your favorite quote or write a note of encouragement to a Christel House student. You can make a difference in minutes!

To get started, download The Extraordinaries iPhone app and start mobile-volunteering for Christel House!

Good question - I know they're working on other platforms as we speak and they just launched a new site at www.beextra.org. I've asked specifically and will post here when we know more. Thanks!!!

Our friends at The Extraordinaries shared that the plan is to bring the system to personal computers (which should be ready very soon), and then blackberry (which has 45 million devices). Android is third - our guess is at least another month or two. Thanks!!
