Christel House Venezuela has been participating in
The Youth Ambassadors program for the last three years. This program promoted by the US embassy in Venezuela, gives Venezuelan students an opportunity for a two-week exchange visit in the United States. During this experience, the participants enrich their knowledge of U.S. culture, society, and education.
To be eligible the student must come from an outstanding high school, be a member of a family with limited economic means , have outstanding school records, display leadership qualities, be proficient in both speaking and understanding English, and demonstrates interests in improving his/her local community.
In previous years 4 of our students: Royker Borges, Jefferson Urdaneta, Maryary Contreras, and José Camacaro have become Youth Ambassadors from Venezuela. CHV is now pleased to announce that this year Frank Segovia has been accepted to participate in this wonderful program. Congratulations to all of them!
